Retail Operations Coordinator

Position Summary
The Retail Operations Coordinator plays an important role in ensuring our whole store has the products,
supplies, and inventory needed to deliver an exceptional customer experience. This position combines
purchasing, inventory management, shipping and receiving, merchandising, and customer service into one
dynamic role. Working closely with pharmacy and front store teams, you’ll keep inventory accurate, shelves stocked,
and workflows running efficiently. You’ll also use your analytical thinking and initiative to identify
opportunities to improve inventory levels, ordering practices, and overall store operations.

What You’ll Do
You’ll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day flow of products throughout the pharmacy while
creating a positive experience for both customers and team members. Your responsibilities will include:
• Receiving, verifying, and organizing incoming shipments using inventory management software
• Managing outgoing shipments, supplier returns, transfers, and credits.
• Ordering pharmaceutical, retail, and specialty products while monitoring inventory levels and
backorders
• Conducting cycle counts and supporting inventory accuracy throughout the store
• Updating product files in the POS to reflect accurate and up to date product information
• Using inventory data and trends to make recommendations that improve product availability and
reduce waste
• Coordinating the deployment of available inventory onto the sales floor
• Coordinating merchandising on the sales floor using planograms and other resources
• Supporting the pharmacy and front store teams during busy periods to ensure an exceptional
customer experience
• Looking for opportunities to improve processes and contribute ideas that help the business
operate more efficiently

Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work, can work independently, and is
comfortable making thoughtful decisions while collaborating closely with others.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience with inventory management, purchasing, retail operations, or shipping and receiving.
• Experience using Microsoft 365, particularly Excel.
• Experience working with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A proactive mindset with the confidence to identify opportunities and recommend improvements.
• Comfort using a variety of online ordering platforms and technology.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
This role requires standing, walking, lifting, bending, and moving products throughout the day. Candidates
should be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in an active retail and pharmacy environment.
Operational Hours & Schedule:
• Shifts will be during the hours 8am and 6pm Monday to Saturday.
